 McLaren Earns FSC Green Status
 McLaren’s paper chain is now certified green by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC).
The FSC is an international certification and labeling system that guarantees that the forest products purchased by McLaren come from responsibly managed forests and verified recycled sources.
Under FSC’s “chain of custody” certification system, forest products are tracked against a set of strict environmental and social standards from the forest to the final consumer’s door. The end result is environmentally responsible products in the marketplace carrying the FSC “tree” logo.
McLaren has been approved for certification and the company is awaiting its certificate. We will provide our certification number and manufacture to FSC standards for customers who wish to be recognized for environmental responsibility.
McLaren already receives paper from FSC certified sources including Buntin Reid, Spicers, Unisource and Atlantic. In addition, our Liberty series sheetfed inks are now free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making them a greener alternative to older ink formulations. |
